🫧 matt sturniolo x fem!reader
🫧 in which you play dress to impress with matt during one of his solo streams
🫧 fluff
🫧 1.4k words.
🫧 hi lovelies!! thank u so much for reading! i was playing dress to impress and i was like just thinking like when i say im a gamer this is what i mean. i play the silly fun games. so i wanted to write matt with a girl like that as well. i hope u enjoy!!!! much love!! <3 masterlist
You sat on the bed, back against the headboard and one headphone in your ear watching Matt play Fortnite. It could honestly get a little boring, but Matt was cute to look at when he got upset, so you persevered.
“Oh, yeah she’s right over here,” you hear Matt say with a chuckle. You look up from your hand where you were peeling a piece of nail polish off your finger to see him leaning over looking at you.
“Hi,” He says with a grin.
“Hello. Weren’t you just playing Fortnite?”
“Mhm. But they asked about you,” he says, pointing his thumb to where the Twitch chat is on his screen.
“Ah,” you let out, getting up from the bed, you make your way over to Matt and sit yourself down on his lap.
“Hey y’all,” you say with a wave. “How is everyone? I hope you’re behaving yourselves.”
You feel Matt place his chin on your shoulder as you're reading through chat.
“‘Where did you get that shirt?’ Well, thank you for asking mattsbabygirl33, I found it in the depths of Nick's closet. Swear that kid has too many clothes,” you answer with a small laugh.
“‘Thoughts on cuddling?’ I love cuddles! Matt and I alternate between big and little spoon throughout the week!”
“Don’t tell,” Matt grumbles, burying his face into your neck. You reach a hand up to run it through his hair.
“Sorry love,” you laugh.
“I think as penance you have to finally give in and play a game on stream.”
“Can I at least pick the game?”
“‘Course,” Matt says, placing a kiss on your cheek.
You grin and lean forward, placing your hands on the mouse and keyboard.
“Don’t look, I want it to be a surprise!”
“Ok,” you hear Matt chuckle as you click around, before you start typing, then more clicking.
“Alright! You can look now!”
“What,” Matt asks slowly, “are we playing exactly?” He’s eying the block model on screen with confusion, and it makes you giggle.
“Dress To Impress! It’s a game on Roblox! I play it all the time when it’s real slow at work.”
“Okay. How do we play?”
“So, well right now we’re in intermission, but once that’s over we’ll be given a theme, and then we’ll have to dress up to the theme, and then we’ll model and vote, and see who ranks in the end. Then we do it over again.”
“Okay, sounds easy enough.”
You smile as you look at the screen noticing intermission is gonna be over in six seconds.
You eagerly lean forward, placing your hand on the keyboard. Grinning once you see the theme pop up.
𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐈𝐄
You got this in the bag. You practically grew up on Barbie.
You look over at Matt. “Ready?”
“Totally.”
You start moving your model around, making your way over to skirts to start off your look, going for the classic Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse. Once you’ve chosen your skirt and changed the color to fuchsia, you start looking for a top, then move on to shoes, before moving on to accessories.
“You have two minutes left!” Matt informs you.
“Oh trust me that’s plenty of time,” You respond, making your way towards the salon section to do hair and makeup.
“Which blonde looks better?” You ask Matt, switching between the two colors.
“Second one.”
You nod. “I was thinkin the same.”
You click the spacebar and watch your model hop out of the chair before you make your way over to the skin tone changer.
As soon as your model hops out, the screen goes black and states that voting is about to start.
The first model starts walking down the car walk and stops to pose and for you to vote.
“What the hell?” Matt says. “They’re not even on theme!”
“Yeah, that happens a lot,” You say with a sigh, keeping the vote on one star.
You and Matt vote and commentate on the next few outfits before it’s your turn.
“Oh, it’s us!” You clap happily. “Ok we have to pose,” you add after, moving the mouse toward the poses.
“I wanna pick,” Matt says, reaching over, making you move your hand.
“You gotta be quick with it.”
“Got it,” he says. You watch as he clicks through the poses, his tongue peeking out a little in concentration.
“Oh, our turns up!”
“We were the last to go, so now we see the top three winners.”
You both watch the screen change to announce the top three, the both of you hoping to be up on the podium somewhere.
“What the fuck!?” Matt exclaims, throwing his hands up, his brows furrowing. “None of them were even on theme!”
“As it happens,” you sigh, scrolling to see where you ended up ranking. Sixth place out of eight.
“I wanna play again,” Matt decides. “But I wanna dress the model this time.”
“Alright,” you agree easily. “We'll just have to wait in intermission before we’re given a new theme.”
You feel Matt nod as he rests his head back on your shoulder as you start to undress your model.
“‘This is why I can’t play this game, it’s just filled with nine year olds who don’t understand the theme’ Yeah, I feel you,” you respond to the chat. “That’s why I only really play when it’s slow at work, cause then I can’t publicly get too pissed.”
You’re reading through the chat, seeing if there’s anything else you wanna respond to when Matt taps your thigh.
“Eight seconds,” he mutters.
“Well, you’re dressing to impress this round, so get your hands ready mister.”
His hands snake around you to land on the keyboard and mouse and as soon as they land the next theme appears on screen.
𝐘𝟐𝐊
“Oh this should be so easy!” You gasp. “All you have to do is channel your inner Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, even Tarayummy!”
“You’ve got this,” you say, placing an encouraging kiss on Matt’s cheek.
“Mhm,” he hums, concentrating on getting his model over to the shirts he seen you pass earlier.
As Matt moves around to dress his model, you start reading through the chat again.
“‘Matt’s concentration and commitment to such a silly game is honestly so cute wtf’ Yes yes, I would have to agree, cvntynickk,” you laugh.
“‘Y/N, we need you here more often so he plays more than just fortnite!’ Ah, that’s kind of you chappellswift, but I don’t wanna be intruding too much,” you respond with a shy smile.
“Never intruding,” Matt mutters.
You smile at that, but it won’t stop the feeling.
“‘How to have a relationship like Y/N & Matt, no borax no glue plsss’ Just find someone who treats you right and respects you and the rest should really fall into place,” you say with a smile.
“Done!” Matt says.
You look over at the game and let out a gasp.
“Matt you did really good!” You look over at him to grin at him brightly.
“Thanks,” he says with a shy smile and slightly reddening cheeks.
The screen changes and voting commences. You and Matt go through the same process as last time. You watch Matt carefully choose each rating like this is America's Next Top Model and not a silly Roblox game.
Once it’s time for the winners to be announced, you feel Matt sit up just that bit straighter, and you struggle to reign in your smile at how serious he’s taking this.
The top three are revealed and,
“What the fuck!” Matt yelps out. “This is bullshit! None of what they’re wearing is y2k at all!”
He reaches over to see where he ranked and you watch as he stops and sees he got fifth place.
“Fuck this,” Matt huffs, leaning back in his chair. “I’m done with this game.”
“Alright then drama queen,” you laugh, exiting out.
“Thank you for having me, but I’m gonna go and get a treat now because I need my daily dose of sugar. Hopefully Chris didn’t eat all the donuts,” you mutter, placing a kiss on Matt’s head as you get up; Matt trying to get you to stay but not too hard knowing how you get without your sugar dose.
You wave bye to chat as well. “Maybe you guys will see me next time.”
“I’m so in love with her,” Matt says quietly to chat, but you hear it as you close his bedroom door; it makes a giddy smile appear on your face.

It's 9:30 Stu, Billy, and I are sitting in my kitchen dressed in our Ghostface robes. The only thing that was left was our masks, which each sat on my kitchen counter. "You ready?" Stu asks as he hands me the glistening hunting knife. We each had one just in case we ran into trouble.
It's exactly 10 pm when we see Steve's car pull up in front of Casey's house. Stu and Billy do the hard part of kidnapping Steve Orth. They drag him into my house, and duct tape him to a yard chair in my living room. I'm still scared we might get caught, that somehow either one of them will escape and we'll all go to jail.
Steve wakes up right as Stu and Billy are bickering about who's going to end up killing him. "I want to kill him; I was the one who came up with the idea to kill him," Stu whispers shouts as he crosses his arms over his chest. "Well, I came up with the entire fucking plan, so I should be the one to do it." Billy says. Steve's eyes flutter open, but the two are too engrossed in their conversation to notice. Steve's eyes flicked across the room, trying to make sense of what was going on. His eyes stopped on me first, then Stu, then Billy, holding the knife. By then, he knew he was in deep shit. He struggles, trying to pull his arms and legs out of the duct tape restraints. "Wha-what the hell's going on?!" Steve shouts.
Billy's head cocks to the side. "We just wanna play a game, Steve," he says, his voice now modified by a voice changer that we bought at the Halloween pop-up shop. Steve's eyes furrow eyes still flicking between each one of us. "wha-what?" Billy laughs as he approaches Steve. He caresses his face with the sharp blade of his knife. Billy ignores Steve's answers and goes on the explain the rules of the 'game'. "The rules are simple: you answer our questions correctly, and your girlfriend doesn't get gutted like a fuckin' pig." the mention of Casey lights a fire inside of Steve. He struggles desperately, trying to break free. "You better not fucking hurt her! I'll fucking kill you if you touch her!" I can practically see Billy's smile through his mask as he presses the blade against Steve's neck.
Billy stood there, silent and intense, almost as if he were telepathically threatening him. Steve, oblivious to the warning, continued to fidget and threaten to kill us all if we didn't release him. Billy doesn't waste another second before slitting Steve's throat, letting him bleed out in my living room. "Well, that was boring," Stu mutters under his breath as he and Billy drag Steve's lifeless body into Casey's backyard.
-
Everything else goes according to plan. We sneak into her house using the spare key hidden under the doormat. We wait and listen as she enters the house. Then, Billy calls her, she discovers Steve's body outside on her back patio, and we chase her around. Everything goes smoothly until the very end. Stu isn't able to get to her in time. She's inches from getting away, and I can't let that happen. I run up in front of Stu and grab Casey tightly, holding her against my body before plunging the knife into her chest. She whimpers as I throw her to the ground. She looked down, crying as she watched her blood slowly begin to stain her cream-colored sweater.
I kneel to the ground, about to finish her off, when she attempts to knock the knife out of my hands. I'm quick to wrap my hand around her neck. She desperately grabbed at my hands, trying to loosen my grip as she cried. I don't give in, my hands tightening around her throat. But Casey was clever. She kneed me right in the crotch, causing me to double over in pain, and I cursed under my breath. "God dammit. Bitch!" Just when I was starting to recover, I noticed her parents arriving and Casey, despite her injuries, was making her way towards them, limping.
If I didn't act quickly, she would reach them, and we would all be caught. Luckily, the amount of pressure I had put on her neck had caused her to lose her voice, making her unable to call out to them. When I sneaked up behind her, her parents had already gone inside, giving me the perfect opportunity to finish her off. Her body feels lifeless as I push her back onto the creaking wooden porch. Despite her dwindling strength, she manages to reach up and grab my mask, slowly peeling it off my face. I don't care at this point, knowing I'm seconds away from killing her, anyway. Once my face is fully visible, the expression on her face changes. Although the life in her eyes is fading, I discern the shock, confusion, and sense of betrayal that registers in her gaze for a fleeting moment before I draw the knife back and plunge it back into her chest several times. One, two, three, four.
The only thing that gets me to stop is Stu's hand on my shoulder. I'm panting as I turn around. "Holy shit!" Stu's mask muffles his laugh as he stares down at the carnage that I left behind. "We gotta get her up in that tree before her parents come back out," Billy says as he walks up behind Stu. I grab my mask that was still somehow clutched in her blood-splattered hands. I go back inside as they gut her and tie her up in the tree.
I'm standing in my bathroom washing the blood off of my face. I stare at myself in the mirror, looking at the woman I have become. If we got caught somehow, my life would be over. There'd be no college, no family, no house behind a picket fence. The only thing I'd know is orange jumpsuits and metal bars. Even with the pit of anxiety that sat in my stomach, it all still felt so exhilarating. The blood, the knife, the act of taking someone's life just felt so exciting. I kind of liked it in a way. The knife just felt so good in my hands, and the blood felt so good against my skin.
"Hey-" I jump, dropping the rag I was holding into the sink before spinning around on my heels. Stu stands in the doorway with a smirk on his face as I grasp at my chest. "Oh, my god Stu, you scared me!" I say as he slowly walks towards me. He's still dawning his robes, which are now blood stained. "You did good out there for that being your first kill. I'm impressed," I laugh as he wraps one arm around my waist, pulling me close to him. "You think so?" I ask shyly, as if I hadn't stabbed her 4 times in the chest. "Oh, I know so, baby," he says before pressing his lips to mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer. Every time I kissed him, I couldn't believe all of this was happening to me. "God, can you two get out of the way?" Billy groans as he walks into the bathroom.
We pull away to see Billy, who is now back in his street clothes. He turns the sink on before splashing water onto his face in an effort to get rid of the splattered blood off of his face. He's going to Sid's after this so he can have an alibi that wasn't us. Stu was going to stay here so I could have an alibi. It'd be suspicious if I was home alone all night while Casey Becker was getting murdered next door. He sneaks out my bedroom window and runs down the alleyway behind the houses in my neighborhood until he's far enough away to feel safe enough to walk down the sidewalk.
20 minutes later, we're laying on my bed, tongues shoved into each other mouths, and my shirt thrown somewhere on the floor. I heard police sirens blaring down our street about 10 minutes ago. I just hoped they wouldn't feel the need to question us. I run my hands through his hair as his lips venture down my neck, sucking and biting at the supple flesh. I didn't mind if he left any marks, if one of the girls, or Randy ever asked, I could always come up with the excuse that I found a boyfriend. It's a dumb excuse, but the girls would be excited. They were always trying to set me up with guys from our school. They didn't want me to feel left out when they were making out with their boyfriends, on movie nights, at parties, or even just our regular lunch spot at school.
I throw my head back, giving him more access to my neck. I'm about to grind up into his body when 3 loud and sharp knocks interrupt us. I yelp before pushing Stu off of me and scattering to try to find my shirt. "Do we have to answer it? Can't we just ignore'em?" Stu asks. we already knew who it was. It was impossible for it not to be the police. "No! we'll seem more suspicious if we don't." I say as I pull my shirt over my head and begin to walk downstairs.
We already had a made-up story for what we were doing tonight, knowing they'd ask. We were just watching movies with Casey, and one other unnamed boy that would take the fall for any hickeys, or the lingering smell of sex on my body. she left at around 9:15 because her boyfriend was coming over, that was the last time we saw her. I pull the deadbolt off before unlocking and throwing the door open to see Dewey Riley. I let out a sigh of relief. Thank God it was Dewey. He'd at least be a little more lenient with me.
I put on my "innocent act." "Hey Dewey," I furrowed my brows and asked, "What's going on?" I looked around, trying to appear confused as I stared at the cop cars and ambulances. Dewey clears his throat "Well...um, Casey Becker was murdered next door" My hand slaps over my mouth as I gasp. Tears pooled in my eyes. I could see the pity in Dewey's eyes. I was good. "We need to question you and any others that are in the house" I nod as I hear Stu begin to walk down the stairs behind me. Dewey's eyes flick up to him, brows furrowing before asking, "Stuart, what are you doing here?" Stu shrugs "Hanging out. What's going on?" I can feel Dewey's eyes settle on the big red hickey that sat on my neck. His eyes then flick up to Stu, whose hair is a mess. I can see the suspicion in his eyes. He clears his throat once again before saying, "We need you two down at the station for questioning."
-
I find myself in a dimly lit interrogation room at the police station, my leg bouncing up and down with nervous energy. Suddenly, a police officer, one I've never met before, enters the room, muttering my name before taking a seat in the chair opposite me. Officer Torres introduced himself and placed a small notepad on the table. "We have a few questions for you. Can you please tell us what you were doing at 9 o'clock tonight?" he inquired. "Um hanging out with friends," I lean back in my chair, trying to make enough eye contact to seem innocent without overdoing it and seeming guilty.
He nodded, then shifted his gaze down to his notepad, where he began to write. "Who all was there?" he asks, now raising his head to look at me again. "Um Stu, me Casey...and this guy she said he older 'n went to the community college. Oh...and Billy, he came over earlier but left to go be with his girlfriend." the officer nods before writing again. "This is Stuart Macher, Casey Becker, and Billy Loomis?" my leg bounced up and down under the table anxiously. I just hoped that Stu was at least sort of sticking to the story we came up with. "Yes, sir." I whisper. He nods, jotting down a few more notes before moving on to the next question "Um what..what exactly happened while you were hanging out? Did Casey seem scared...that something might happen to her? Did she ever mention someone threatening her in any way?" I shook my head; my heart was beating a mile a minute. One wrong move, one slip up, and they would put me away for life. "No sir. We just hung out watching movies and stuff. Casey and the college boy left at...I Dunno maybe 9:30 said her boyfriend was coming over."
I look up at the clock that hangs directly behind the officer. 11 pm. God, I just wished this could all be over with. "What about this other boy? Do you know his name?" he asks. I shake my head. We couldn't give him a name. There was always a possibility this made-up man somehow had an identical real-life counterpart we didn't know about, and our entire plan would be in shambles. "Did they both go back to her house?" I shake my head once again "No..um, I watched him drive off. Something about a house party in the town over" he nods, jotting down a few more notes. "What about Billy Loomis? What time did he leave?"
The relentless stream of questions felt never-ending. "What did you do after?" "Did you hear anything?" "Are you sure you didn't hear anything?" "Where's your brother tonight?" I just hoped I didn't look too suspicious and that all of my answers seemed true. I didn't get back out into the lobby until 11:30. Stu still wasn't done. I just hoped he didn't do something stupid.
I'm sat by Dewey's desk while he files out some type of paperwork. "Are you going to tell my parents?" I whisper, hoping he wouldn't, but knowing deep down he would because of legality. "Have to since we questioned you. You're a minor." I turned 18 at the end of next month. Did he have to tell them? They'd kill me if they knew I had boys over. "Do you have to tell them about the boys being over? They'll kill me if they knew?" he sighs, looking up at me before saying, "I'll see what I can do."
I stare down at my hands, I'm terrified that the police officer had seen right through me and knew exactly what I did. That I had killed her, and it felt so good. Deep down I hate myself for liking it so much. Tears pool in my eyes as the emotion and realization of what I had done set in. Tears streamed down my face as I desperately tried to wipe them away. "Hey, hey what's wrong?" Dewey asks, as he sets his hand on my shoulder. "I-I just can't believe she's dead!" I sobbed as I wiped at my cheeks. "If I had heard something..." I stop to let a few more tears fall down my cheeks "I could've helped her."
After Stu finishes his interrogation, Dewey gives us a ride back to my house in his police car. The entire block is still bathed in the eerie glow of the red and blue police lights. The Becker residence is cordoned off with bright yellow crime scene tape, and her parents are standing on the sidewalk, sobbing as they speak with the chief of police. "You sure you wanna stay here? Can take you back to my parent's place? Tatum wouldn't say no to a sleepover." Dewey proposed. I shake my head, mumbling a quiet "no" as I open up the car door. "You need a ride home, Mácher?" Stu also shakes his head as he begins to follow me, sliding out of the cop car. "Nah, my car's here," he says before slamming the door. "Alright, you two stay safe, alright?" Dewey says as he rolls down his window. I nodded, waving goodbye as I walked up the pathway to my house.
Dewey stays parked outside my house as we walk back inside, probably waiting to make sure Stu leaves. "Just drive around the block once. Make sure he's not following you before you come back. Alright?" I say as I close the door. Stu nods as he grabs his car keys off the table that sat in the entryway. "I'll be back. Don't miss me too much," he says with a stupid grin on his lips as he leaves out the front door. As I walk upstairs to my room, all I can think about is what I've become, how much I liked that knife in my hands, and how much I anticipated the next time it'd be in them again.

Now Im interested on the "What if the 3 Vs passed Reader around like a blunt"
I kind of meant it in like a "what if you were some weird shared friend/pet" but I've seen people HC that the 3Vs are poly, although we've never seen any canon confirmation of this and on the Instas it was always Vox who was Val's explicit partner
Although to be nasty I feel like Velvette would be fucked up enough to watch Reader get railed by Val and Vox. Like in some party scenario where you're with all 3 in their house and Valentino dopes you up or something, she's just like, recording you getting spitroasted on her phone
I usually imagine these sorts of scenarios as Reader meeting Val and then slowly drawing the attention of the others, although Vox really has grown on me and I hope we see more of him these last two episodes. Anyways i'm starting to like the idea of Reader meeting Vox first. Like can you imagine you get hired on as a coder or a programmer or a product developer, and he's patrolling the facilities or checking in on a specific project and that's when you meet. He either notices the quality of your work or your manager brings it up to him, or there's some massive metaphorical fire you put out (like that woman who saved toy story 2 from being completely erased because she had all the files backed up, something like that)
You and Vox get to talking, getting along, having similar tastes. He starts giving you different projects, ones he thinks are better suited to your skills (and also put you in closer proximity to him). Fucking liar is arranging shit like company calendars or company events where there are photoshoots JUST so he has an excuse to pose with you for a photo. I mean, it makes sense right? Why would you question your boss wanting to take a celebratory photo at the release of a huge product launch? And you're happy and feeling so respected and successful and being friendlier with him the more you settle into Hell and feel safer, and then I imagine Vox's way of being "obvious" is that he's like, easily nervous or a nervous laugher , I dunno. It's all preference but I like yandere/antagonists who keep their cool a little bit but then it's also cute when they fawn over you 🥰 like the people who know him see the way he laughs around you and they Instantly Know
But then, maybe Val is perceptive enough to notice, "hey why does my man keep taking photos with this one specific person". Like maybe Vox is trying to be slick with it and all the photos are group shots but Val notices that every single photo has you in it and some of the photos are for really minor events he knows Vox wouldn't normally care about. Vox slips up one day when you and him are "sharing a car to go to a company event" which totally isn't like a catered dinner that there are only going to be SO many people at, TOTALLY NOT an incognito date that you're complerely unaware of the intentions behind, and Vox has to stop in back home to grab something, or you get pulled inside for a moment just to wait, he's gotta grab a laptop or a flash drive and, suddenly here's Velvette, "Vox I'm borrowing your nerdy employee, I'm short someone and I need a model for something" and you're getting dragged away
Vox is freaking out thinking you got swiped by Val and he's zipping through the electrical lines in the house (the electro-teleportation shit really is SUCH a game changer), and he finds you trying on things with Velvette, "oh my gosh I've never worn something this nice before, thank you for giving me the opportunity to try it on ^^" and Velvette is so pompous that any praise goes right to her head, and now Vox gets to see you all styled in... whatever. Velvette waves a finger, "now you two match!" as she puts you in an outfit with Vox's aesthetic and color scheme, and she's doing it to tease the both of you but she IMMEDIATELY notices "oh hey Vox what's that look on your face >:3c does someone have a crush?"
SHE would be the fucking gossip who would tell Val honestly. Actually new headcanon lmao: the Vs rarely want to share you but will rat each other out for "having you" in a heart beat. Velvette and Vox hide you from Val, but any of them will gladly steal you from the other lmao. God, a yandere Vox who's lucid and tryna keep his behaviors under wraps, keep it to pictures, stalking and looking from afar, and then you have the other two Vs like SHOVING YOU at him as like, a joke to watch him squirm and blush. They'd be randomly bringing you along just to tease him and watch him sweat. Valentino hits Vox up for a date or a night out and the tv demon shows up and you're there too lmao
I feel like these three are the worst because they all have the capacity to be obsessed with your appearance. Velvette is an influencer, Vox is a TV mogul and tech CEO, and Valentino... obviously we don't need to comment on his penchant for having arm candy. All of them are obsessed with their appearance and their brand and one of them is literally a tailor with magical clothes changing powers. You could have something like the other two Vs show up while you're serving Val drinks and Velvette cocks her brow, "hey, why doesn't this one have a proper uniform?" And she just starts zapping you into different varying levels of exposed outfits that match the other employees at the strip club and Val's aesthetic just for kicks as the big man himself oogles you like a pervert and his boyfriend is pretending he's not interested but, his screen is totally turning red
Tbh I'm suddenly thinking of like, imagine thinking "your body is safe" because Val has never come onto you and, you aren't sleeping with anyone and, you get upset one night and do some self harming behaviors. Velvette or Valentino comes and demands you try something on or you get nonconsensually zapped into something and there are cuts hidden on your body. Velvette is furious because this affects how you look in her clothes and what she can dress you up in, Vox is you know concerned because idk I imagine he knows what it's like to be horribly insecure and feel like you aren't good enough, and Valentino probably loves having you constantly half naked and the self harm scabs? Not hot, babe. Obviously they're all upset over you hurting yourself but, these are occasional feelings on top of that
Ugh I dunno just. They all have power and influence and money and they're all crazy and I'm over here kicking my feet and twirling my hair with thoughts of being objectified in allllll the fun ways

night drives and french fries.
Tumblr media
pairing: wriothesley x gn! reader fandom: genshin impact genre: fluff warnings: none a/n: i drove around at 3 am while listening to wild horse by darci a couple nights back, and i thought to myself, "how nice would it be if wriothesley was the one driving?" p.s., im still horrified at the thought of dipping fries in milkshake.
Tumblr media
The night air rushed through the open windows of the speeding car as Wriothesley's hand gripped the wheel with practiced confidence. The hum of the engine and the rhythmic beat of the music created a symphony in the darkness, and the world outside blurred into streaks of light and shadow.
"Y/N," he called over the music, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Have you ever tried dipping fries in a milkshake? It's a game-changer."
You chuckled, "Quite the profound culinary revelation to have at three in the morning, I must say."
He shot you a mock offended look before breaking into a grin. "Absolutely. You have no idea what you're missing out on. It's perfection personified."
"Guess I'll have to take your word for it, because I am not going to try that. Ever." you replied, a smirk playing on your lips. "But if it's terrible, I'm blaming you."
Wriothesley laughed, the sound merging with the music and the rush of the wind. His hand, once firmly on the wheel, found its way to your thigh. It wasn't possessive, but rather a subtle touch. "Is this your way of distracting me from the fact that we're breaking every speed limit known to man?" you teased, giving the hand on your thigh a light tap.
He grinned, eyes focused on the road but a warmth in his expression. "Maybe I just wanted an excuse to hold onto you."
Your teasing grin softened into a genuine smile at Wriothesley's words. His eyes flickered toward you, and the corners of his lips curled into a reciprocating smile. "Hey, Chef," you teased, your voice laced with a flustered tone, "How about you keep those eyes on the road? I don't need you scrutinizing my face, now do I?"
He chuckled, glancing briefly in your direction before returning his eyes to the road. The playful banter continued, but beneath it, there was a subtle blush coloring his cheeks and a poorly hidden fluster in your voice, a secret warmth that you dared not admit out loud.

This is Honk, a denizen of the Cybertronian colony world of Velocitron from IDW's rebooted Transformers comic universe. While just a background character in the story "Wreckers: Treads and Circuits Part 4", this bot has gotten a bit of attention in the past few days, no part in thanks to their very distinct color palette resembling that of the transgender pride flag. They are a Triple Changer, being able to assume the form of both a black rain frog and a clown car. Given their name in addition to their second alt mode, it's likely that Honk is some sort of entertainer on the planet.

Two hearts can fix everything
Pairing: Wilhemina Venable x fem!Reader
Word Count: 1,3k
Tag list: @paulsonix @d14n4ol @harknspet @strawberryshorttcakkee and if any of you want to be added just let me know!
Summary: Wilhemina Venable. A strange name, but one that has never caused a stir in the redhead's life. However, when a new coffee shop opens near Kineros Robotics, her unusual name is what brings Wilhemina and Y/N together. Charmed by Y/N's sweet smile, Wilhemina doesn't have the courage to correct the barista when she spells her name wrong every time the redhead orders a coffee and, as time goes by, a feeling grows in Wilhemina's heart and she is tempted to almost add an I and an L to her register.
But one day, this little misunderstanding has to end.
Tumblr media
A/N: Hello! i'm back with something new!
fuck… I miss good fanfiction, so I got inspired and finally fell ok with writing again for this social network after all this time, and nothing better than writing about this pretty redhead who lives in our hearts...
I have in mind five chapters to this fanfic (to be really specific), but if you all like this I can extend the fanfic to 7 or 8 chapters, just like I did with (a very unprofessional) game changer .
As I said last time, English is not my first language so something might sound strange, but as always, I did my best.
Anyway this is basically a coffee shop au (mix w 5 times +1) were the cute barista keeps mispelling the other persons name but it's been too long now so the person don't even know how to tell them that without it being 100% awkward BUT happy ending included! And they are cute!!
Enjoy!
Synopsis of the story + Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4, Chapter 5
Chapter 1
The first time that it happened, Wilhemina was supposed to go home after a really long day of work, because she couldn't be more irritated on a Monday. Jeff and Mutt started the week smelling like cheap booze and both extremely tipsy, stumbling between the rooms of Kineros Robotics while laughing for no reason at all. Even though the redhead knows that their brains are absolutely useless for anything, she still finds herself getting irritated by their lack of professionalism. And this irritability gives her a headache right away.
The redhead took an antibiotic for the pain, even though her back wasn't bothering her, silently and uselessly wishing that the relaxing medicinal effect would be directed at the throbbing pain in the middle of her forehead. Her primary instinct is to simply get into her car and go home, but as she leaves the building where she works, a sign shines in the sunset across the street and consequently catches Wilhemina's attention.
The sign had been ready for a few days now, full of green plants and eye-catching flowers to the point that the redhead believed it was a flower shop. But now it is clear, thanks to the colorful and festive letters that basically scream “Gardenhouse Coffee”, that it is a coffee shop.
And the redhead simply knows that she will not like it there.
Wilhemina can see, just through the ornate glass of the colored windows, that this is not the kind of place she frequents. It is a mix of shades of green, yellow, purple, pink and blue that contaminate the redhead's vision. She knows that she cannot call it ugly, because even though it is confusing it does not seem ugly. It is just not for her. Definitely not for her.
But when the redhead's headache worsens, as a reminder of her current situation, Wilhemina imagines that, perhaps, there is no harm in visiting the place. After all, the cause of her headache could be the lack of coffee in her day. It made sense since she did not drink coffee in the morning and also did not stop her work for it at any time during the day.
And suddenly, getting rid of this pain quickly turns out so important to Venable that she crosses the street and enters the coffee shop right away.
The inside is not as bad as the facade. There are wooden tables with several plants in different colors, but with green and brown staying everything seems to make more sense. The place is busy, but everyone is already seated at their respective tables and engaged in parallel conversations, and knowing that she doesn't have to wait for anyone to place her order or stand under the gaze of strangers while waiting for a measly coffee makes Wilhemina calmer.
The coffee shop is not as small as Wilhemina imagined looking from the outside, and part of the redhead is surprised to discover that only one woman works there. She wears a light brown apron with some plants printed on it, as well as the name of the coffee shop and a name tag.
Y/N.
The name is written clearly, in a size acceptable to be seen from a distance and with beautiful handwriting. But what really catches Wilhemina's attention is her face. Y/N has bright eyes and a smile that seems to shine in the middle of the coffee shop, as if she were a being oblivious to all the evils of the world. And Wilhemina almost gets scared when her eyes shine with a kind of natural affection directly in her direction.
“Hello, welcome to Gardenhouse Coffee! How can I help you?”, her voice is also soft, full of joy and Wilhemina can’t decide if she likes it or not.
“Just the menu.”, the redhead didn’t mean to, but her voice came out less inviting than she anticipated.
“Here. Just let me know if you need anything, or if something on the menu is confusing.”
“I believe I can find myself on a sheet of paper. Thank you.”
Y/N doesn’t answer her, just nods and focuses her gaze on her own counter, as if looking for something to do besides looking at the redhead. When Venable focuses her gaze on the menu, she notices that the names are absurd. Full of lame puns, or ingredients that are not very inviting to her, and Wilhemina has absolutely no time for any of that, especially when her head starts to hurt again. So, she doesn't bother to look at the entire menu to turn her attention to the waitress in front of her.
"I'll just have a strong coffee, medium size. Black, no sugar or anything else.", as the words slip past her lips, Wilhemina slides the menu to the counter again, and as she does so she can see that Y/N notices that she is not available for any silly conversation in the middle of this sale, and the redhead feels grateful for that since her head continues to hurt more and more with each second.
"It's on its way! What's your name?", the waitress's smile is there again, but the question confuses Wilhemina.
Why does she want Wilhemina's name if she is the only one inn line there waiting for a coffee? And honestly, a simple, regular coffee doesn't take long to make so there's no chance that Y/N will forget what to do or to who it is directed before it is ready.
The redhead thinks about being unpleasant and asking questions in a loud and clear tone for everyone to hear, questioning the attendant's IQ until the incessant smile disappears from her face, but her head is about to throb without pause so Wilhemina just answers quickly before watching Y/N work.
"Venable. Wilhemina Venable."
Maybe it would be better for her back to just sit down, because the idea of the pain in the center of her forehead being accompanied by a much more unpleasant one in the middle of her spine made her saliva taste bitter. But sitting carefully in chairs that seem too low, and then having to get up to leave with the same care, both to avoid hurting herself and to avoid attracting curious looks, is so exhausting that perhaps the first option is actually the best on a comparative scale.
It's official, she prefers to stand and only sit down when she is really comfortable and without pitying looks on her, in her car.
Trying to use the time she has in a profitable way, the redhead takes her wallet out of her bag and then her card, but as soon as she looks up, she sees Y/N writing something down in a cup filled with a dark liquid that Wilhemina could swear is hers.
It really was fast.
The cup is handed to her with a sweet smile, and Wilhemina almost feels obliged to mirror it, even if it was with a slight robotic lift of her lips, but then she sees it.
Wilhielmina.
At another time, Venable would have stared at the striking and beautiful line of the barista's handwriting on the glass, or even the two drawn hearts that accompanied it, but the error in her name screams so loudly in her ears that she can barely think of anything else while staring at the hot drink.
If the redhead were living an ordinary day, her first reaction would be to complain to the person in charge and ask the bright-eyed barista if she was illiterate. After all: an I and an L, really?
But her head hurt so much, her body was really tired and crying out for a shower, and her knees were now tired of supporting her weight.
Wilhemina really just wanted to go home. And so the redhead just grabbed the cup and gave the barista a polite nod before heading out of that rainbow-shaped nightmare, not caring if Y/N had said a word to her.
After all, Wilhemina wouldn't go back there.
The coffee must be bad, so she doesn't care if her name is spelled wrong.
She wouldn't go back there anyway.

🫣 liste des images utilisées: pexels-eberhard-grossgasteiger-1624503 pexels-serkan-atay-19730755 pexels_videos_1536279 (1080p) Falling Snow Realistic Overlay Loop pexels-curtis-adams-8583905 pexels-taryn-elliott-4440123 pexels-emma-bauso-2253870 pexels-karolina-grabowska-5726036 pickawood-rwa0Yh38FeA-unsplash samantha-gades-BlIhVfXbi9s-unsplash kari-shea-3_cyj5YkhTs-unsplash jeffery-ho-TIN_Lh9-Y7g-unsplash markus-spiske-UaQ1t-nQHyk-unsplash annie-spratt-JruJFy08KB8-unsplash pexels-maksim-goncharenok-4352247 sunguk-kim-WTKvaChRvBg-unsplash pexels-karolina-grabowska-5726036 nataliia-kvitovska-MYwbqIfccvg-unsplash pickawood-rwa0Yh38FeA-unsplash filipp-romanovski-pDbhjYjrWpk-unsplash content-pixie-6CFCrt-7tHw-unsplash fatty-corgi-EpRAM95thHU-unsplash pexels-serkan-atay-19730755 fatty-corgi-wHgkrmuMFOY-unsplash pexels-anna-shvets-4587992 alexander-london-mJaD10XeD7w-unsplash

So a new EarthSpark product was shown to me.
Tumblr media
A water gun toy with Bumblebee (notice how most of these ancillary products DON’T use the Terrans…).
And then it hit me.
Another failure of the toy line.
The whole idea Terrans use water to refuel over Energon would be perfect for Color Changer toys!
Tumblr media
It’s literally built right in!
Tumblr media
Quintus’ water easily could’ve been a toy gimmick! What is wrong with you, Hasbro?? What is wrong with you, show runners?! Stop being so anal about toy gimmicks in a show fragging DESIGNED to sell toys to children and kids at heart! It’s not even that hard to implement! You could even tie it into the Bumblebee water squirter by making it one of Alex’s collectibles!
Make it a power up like the Autobot Brothers!
Tumblr media
They even experimented with Color Changers back in G2!
Tumblr media
I’m in a bit of a raw mood due to a beloved pet dying, but my god, ES writers, stop making us, the fans, do your job for you! None of this is hard! Why are you doing it hard. This is a children’s toy property! It thrives on wacky robot gimmicks, stop being embarrassed by it. This is a property that involved a robot bat trying to steal gasoline with a car wash, and he got beat up by a human teenager for his troubles!
Tumblr media
Stop trying to avoid it and embrace it! This schlock is perfect for EarthSpark for that matter, but nooooo, you gotta make some James Roberts slag about the Decepticons having their feelings hurt and you can’t even do that right!
Where’s the toy gimmick about Nightshade building a Hydro-Cog to activate Color Change power ups? Oh that’s right, it’s in the garbage bin with their much cooler gargoyle beast mode and Doc Brown personality. You could’ve had Doc Greene as a teenage Transformer, but you had to make it about gender and not cool, goofy inventor Wheeljack but an Owl. The Energon Universe deserves all the accolades and I hope the Void Rivals toyline outsells ES. Not like it’s hard.

The Spectacular Spider-Woman
Hello and welcome back, dear reader! After that last review, I promised myself I’d try one more figure from the “Transformers: One” toyline, just to see if there’s anything redeemable about this series. I mean, there’s gotta be something. So today, we’re looking at “Transformers: One Cog Changer Airachnid!” Is she worth some cash, or another fumble by the “Transformers: One” toyline?
Tumblr media
Once again, at the time of this writing, the movie isn’t out yet. So once again, at the time of this writing, I can’t give any spoilers or tell you anything about the film’s take on Airachnid as a character other than that she’s probably a villain. I can, however, tell you about the character’s origins. Airachnid first appeared in the absolutely amazing “Transformers: Prime” animated series that I watched the hell out of in college. She was a sadistic, vicious serial killer who collected trophies from her victims and was the hated enemy of the Autobot Arcee after she tortured Arcee and killed her partner Tailgate. Upon coming to Earth, she delighted in tormenting Arcee until she was forced to join the main Decepticon force, having been largely independent up to that point. After a series of events where she was imprisoned by the Autobots in stasis, then put in storage by the Decepticons while still in stasis, she was turned into a robot vampire and was trapped on one of Cybertron’s moons, never to appear in the series again. Yeah, I know I omitted a lot, but this is a toy review blog, not a “Transformers: Prime” recap blog.
Alright, so what are Cog Changers, other than something that sounds like a car repair tool? Cog Changers are an assortment from the “Transformers: One” toyline of simple figures with very limited articulation that convert to robot mode in one step and then change back to vehicle mode by pressing a panel on their chests that’s designed to look like a Transformation Cog, the thing that lets Transformers transform. They’re this line’s version of the old One-Step Changers from prior toylines, specifically the Flip Changers from the “Transformers: Earthspark” toyline.
Airachnid, befitting her usual deal as a creepy, homicidal antagonist, is done in predominantly shades of grey. Considering the toy’s default mode is a little spider robot, this actually works really well for the figure, since most common spiders tend to be darker colors. The grey also makes the blue of her spider mode’s eyes really stand out, with the metallic coloring really emphasizing that the eyes are lenses. As a spider robot, she looks good. She looks like a little spider drone that you’d send in for spy missions, blending in and observing, scurrying about unseen until it’s time to strike, and I really like that for her. Her robot mode’s guns also end up under her spider mode’s front, making it clear she’s deadly in both modes, even if that isn’t immediately obvious. Airachnid does a good job hiding her robot mode, which isn’t visible in spider mode unless you look at her underbelly, and even then, the gunmetal grey paint helps hide it. I do love how much that paint both emphasizes the character’s deadliness and makes the blue eyes stand out. Her spider mode’s sculpting is great, too. It’s surprisingly detailed for a figure of this size and price point, which is yet another reason for me to rave about how this mode looks.
Tumblr media
The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout
The spider mode does actually have some articulation. The two sets of spider legs can move, but the joints each set is on make it so the legs don’t have the strength to support her weight. Other than that, there’s no articulation at all in either mode, but we’ll come back to the legs when we discuss robot mode.
As befitting this type of figure, transforming Airachnid is super easy. You just fold the chest in and the robot legs out from beneath her, and almost everything moves into place. Once she’s in robot mode, just push up on the tab on her chest to move her transformation cog panel into position, reposition the spider legs as desired, and you’re good. Sometimes, though, the transformation cog panel won’t want to stay in place, and you’ll need to fiddle with it to get it to stay.
Airachnid’s robot mode is more broad shouldered than I expected. She kinda has the classic Superman build, with the broad chest and shoulders, the triangular torso, and the muscular thighs. I was honestly surprised by how heroic the build looks from the front, especially since the character’s usually one of the more monstrous villains in the franchise. Part of that is due to her leg design. The legs are build like artificial limbs sprinters use, and also have a big hole in the sides of the thighs. Presumably, it’s for her flight mode that we briefly see in one of the trailers, but it feels out of place on this toy. Airachnid’s shoulder armor has a pair of dark red stripes on each shoulder that blend into the grey. I kinda wish those stood out more, but the darker colors used does a good job emphasizing that this is a dangerous woman, and brighter colors would take attention away from the rest of the toy, especially since those are the only red spots. I love the lighter metal grey used for the guns on Airachnid’s arms. It makes it very clear she’s packing and ready for a fight. Her head has some vague similarities to her “Prime” counterpart, but it’s a lot smoother and with less stylization to it. At the same time, you can see where it could become the head we’re more familiar with as the character gets older and goes through the war, which serves as a neat reminder that the war hasn’t happened yet and that this is a younger character. I am thrown off by the robot mode’s blue eyes, though. They feel too nice and friendly, and a lot less like the eyes of a killer. Seems like a weird choice. The transformation cog panel on Airachnid’s chest is nicely detailed. The majority of it is the same color as the guns, which makes it stand out against Airachnid’s chest, and the blue does a great job telling kids “press here to transform me.” It’s very nice. The figure does a good job hiding the spider mode, which is mostly folded on her back and blends in really well. It just looks like she has armor on her back, and the spider legs really look great.
Tumblr media
Good posture is important, even for killer space robots
In terms of articulation, we have barely any here. Airachnid’s arms are at her sides, and at her sides they will stay. This means her guns are stuck pointing at the ground, which I guess means the only shooting she’s doing is if she’s standing directly on top of someone. The spider legs, though, do still have their articulation. Normally, you keep them more behind her back. However, the tips of the legs are designed so you can fit the blast effects that come with the more collector-aimed toys on them, making it look like the legs are also guns.
Transforming Airachnid back to spider mode is where I have a problem. You transform her by pressing the transformation cog panel on her chest, which makes her change back automatically. On my figure, though, the robot mode legs will stop short of folding up all the way, keeping her almost entirely, but not quite, transformed, and requiring me to push the legs the rest of the way in. It doesn’t damage the figure, and I never feel like it’s going to strain the toy at all, but it is annoying. The panel is also supposed to drop back down out of sight when Airachnid transforms back, but it doesn’t always do so. If it doesn’t on yours, push the tab that moves it into place for robot mode up and it will drop back down.
Tumblr media
Fun fact: if you put a small pencil through the thigh holes, you can spin her around like a carnival toy! I take no responsibility for any damage or injury caused by doing this.
“Transformers: One Cog Changer Airachnid” is available at mass retail for about $10. Would I recommend her? Yeah, actually. She’s not an amazing figure, don’t get me wrong, but she’s not terrible. I enjoy fidgeting with her, and she makes a great desk item to have out. I like how she looks, and her alt mode is unique. As long as you go in knowing what you paid for, she’s a good little figure to play with. Next time, we’ll step away from the robots to look at something else that’s been around for years! What is it? Come back and see! This is JS signing off and wishing you Happy Toy Hunting!

Thanks to @blind-the-winds for the tag!
This is from my novel-in-progress. I'll try not to over-explain, but: it's loosely based on events from my own life (with a lot of straight-up fiction thrown in), and stylistically I'm aiming for something like "if Kathy Acker wrote Jack Kerouac's On the Road." There are the main narrative sections (which hew more closely to the structure of OtR), but then there are all these interludes and meta-fictional weirdnesses and... Anyway, this is one of the main narrative sections.
I buzzed her in, and she said: “And I brought a joint. I thought maybe you’d wanna get high.” Hell yeah, I wanted to get high. “Let’s go out,” I said, grabbing my jacket. I knew we couldn’t talk or smoke like we wanted in front of my boyfriend, who sat noodling around on his guitar in the next room. He’d take one look at Rat Hole and decide she was a bad influence, and he hated weed, too. We headed east on Irving Park Road, towards the Brown Line Stop. Rat Hole cupped her hand around the flame of her green lighter and lit the joint, took a puff, passed it to me. We walked in silence for a bit, passing the joint back and forth, keeping an eye out for cops. Soon everything was a stoned symphony of sound and color, the headlights of passing cars bending and refracting in our blurry vision, their tires wsssshhhing over the wet, salty streets. We got so high we forgot it was still cold; our blood was warm and everything felt like spring. We took the el to Belmont Ave. and it was Rat Hole’s first time on Belmont, and ever after that place became a symbol of our friendship. I thought of my ode to Belmont; the night was like a living version of it. They were all there: punks with six-inch tall Day-Glo mohicans, Jesus People proselytizing, drag queens in their feathers and spangles, goths in their big black boots, suburban spare changers, pickpockets and prostitutes in the Punkin’ Donuts parking lot, and all the sounds, bass booming behind doors of dance clubs, car horns and stereos and hey fuck you, buddy! And all the smells—donut grease, car exhaust, smoke (sewer, cigar, incense), hot dog water, deep dish pizza, grime—an Eau d’ Belmont.
I'll tag @belialjones @endreal @kurnutus86 @hthrrloooo @chucklingpecan @big-low-t @dee-the-red-witch — and any other writer pal who'd like to participate. (But don't feel obligated! And P.S. feel free to use any recent work, be it poetry or prose, fiction or non. I've put poetry in these things before.)

"Eco-solvent inks in 2024: sustainability and high quality change the printing industry"
In an era where environmental concerns are at the forefront, the emergence of eco-solvent ink represents a significant milestone in the printing industry.
Unlike its counterparts, UV and water-based inks, eco-solvent ink is a composition of non-toxic solvents and natural pigments.
Please take note: a remarkable 50% of its components derive from renewable resources. With a minimal volatile organic compound (VOC) content, this ink is virtually odorless.

The Birth of Eco-Solvent Ink:
Since the advent of inkjet printers in the 1990s, the ink industry has grappled with toxicity, irritation, and high pollution.
However, through three generations of technological evolution and the relentless efforts of scientists, the printing world has been introduced to a game-changer – the non-toxic, non-irritating, and odorless eco-solvent ink. It signifies the industry's definitive break from the stigma of high pollution associated with traditional printing practices.
Cost Control and Print Quality of Eco-Solvent Ink:
The high cost of traditional inks has long been a bone of contention in the printing industry. Eco-solvent ink has opened a window of opportunity, epitomized by the phrase “a long slope with thick snow.” The substantial investment required yields a steady and stable return. Boasting excellent adhesion and vibrant color, eco-solvent ink has solidified its position in an era where print quality is a critical differentiator.
Applications of Eco-Solvent Ink:
A chasm exists between traditional inks and eco-solvent inks in the industry. The market for eco-solvent inks spans a wide range, from outdoor billboards to textile banners and car stickers, showcasing its boundless adaptability. It also defines the contours of modern printing practices:
Indoor and outdoor advertising and signage printing Automobile body stickers and wraps Industrial labeling and packaging printing Textile and eco-friendly fabric printing
Amidst the daunting challenges, from increasingly stringent regulations to technological iterations, our company, Panjet(https://www.pan-jet.com/), remains committed to the path of green and sustainable development. We stand as your provider of high-quality printing ink solutions.
